Deep Freeze, Cryo Freeze

Many processes require cold processing. At Spectrum Thermal Processing we don't just handle the hot thermal processes, we also have a suite of sub-zero treatments as well. Deep freeze operations take parts down as low as -120°F to enhance microstructure stability. For more extreme processes we support cryogenic freezing in liquid nitrogen down to -320°F. Ask about how low our retained austinite levels are; deep freeze makes it possible!

Deep freeze cycles are often paired with temper operations as part of hardening processes. Each freeze and temper cycle improves the material stability and provides fine control of hardness targets.
